The Grape Solar Grid-Tied PV Kits come in any size, 250W and larger. These kits consist of Grape Solar modules, an inverter system and a roof-top or ground based racking system for mounting the modules.

Unlike other generators, there are no mechanical moving components in the Grape Solar Grid-Tied Kits; therefore, maintenance is virtually non-existent. These kits are eligible for federal, state and local utility rebate and incentive programs.

Note: Professional Installation by a Licensed Electrician or Solar Installer is highly recommended and required in some areas. Be sure to check local zoning codes and home owner associations prior to purchasing. Contact Grape Solar for recommended installers near you.

In order to initiate a conversation that will allow us to determine what kind of system will best meet your goals, please fill out as much of the form to the right as you can. After you fill out the form you will be contacted by a Grape Solar representative.

SYSTEM DESIGN TOOL

What kind of system would you like us to design?

Grid-Tied

The most common type of residential solar kit
+Most effective at reducing a power bill
+Eligible for incentives and tax rebates
+Sells excess energy back to the grid
+Does not need batteries
-Does not function when the grid is down

Off-Grid

Commonly used in RVs, boats and cabins
+Generates power without the grid
+Easily self installed
-Cannot sell energy back to the utility
-Requires expensive batteries

Grid-Interactive

Excellent for powering critical loads during emergencies
-Costs about twice as much as grid-tied systems
+Generates power without the grid
+Sells excess energy back to the utility
+Eligible for incentives and tax rebates

SYSTEM SIZE

The number of panels in a system is usually limited by: Budget, Space and Production goals. To help us determine the best system size for your project, please fill out at least one of the fields below:

W DC
kWh/month average consumption
Coverage goal
Number of Panels

Would you like an installer recommendation

*Knowing the square footage of your home will not help us in determining system size because electrical consumption habits vary and are not proportional to square footage.

*Knowing the dollar amount of your monthly bill will not help us determine system size because rates vary and tiers make it nearly impossible to derive your kWh consumption.
